Late Pandit Niranjan Prasad  was a legendary flutist who had spread the magic of flute all across the globe. 

To commemorate his death anniversary, the NGO Niranjan Dhara, Lucknow organizes a cultural evening every year which has the blessings and performances of great artists like Padam Vibhushan Dr. Yamini Krishnamurthy (Bharatnatyam), Padmashri Geeta Mahalik (Orissi), Padmashri Kiran Segal (Orissi), Padma Shri F. Wasifuddin Dagar (Dhrupad), Padma Shri Ranjana Gauhar(Orissi), Sh Ratan Prasanna (Guitar), Sh. RajKishore Dalbehera, etc who were also the co-artists of the late Guru.

The concert continues to enthral the audiences with unique performances of classical and semi classical vocal, instrumental and dance forms. The cultural event 'Niranjan Smriti' on all occasions, has beem widely appreciated and covered by media.
