NIRANJAN DHARA (formerly known as Dr Ambedkar Sangeet Akademy) was established by Late Pandit Niranjan Prasad. It is a Lucknow based NGO, involved in supporting progress of the society in various areas- social, developmental, educational, intellectual, health,etc - including providing vocational training to women, child education causes, and in reviving Indian music and dance. 

We as an organization, have always been trying to contribute in this direction in some form or the other and as a part of these efforts, we have been organizing a cultural evening (‘Niranjan Smriti’) since 2014 in the memory of our founder, mentor, eminent guru and one of the internationally renowned flutist Late Pt. Niranjan Prasad.
