Late Pandit Niranjan Prasad was a legendary flutist who had spread the magic of flute all across the globe.
To commemorate his death anniversary, Niranjan Dhara (formerly known as Dr. Ambedkar Sangeet Akademy, Lucknow) organizes a cultural evening every year which has the blessings and performances of great artists like Padam Vibhushan Dr. Yamini Krishnamurthy, Padmashri Geeta Mahalik, Padmashri Kiran Segal who were also the co artists of the late Guru.
It has covered the cities of Lucknow, Noida and New Delhi ; showcasing various virtuoso artists and forms of Indian classical music and dance ; as a tribute to the Guru. The concert continues to enthrall the audiences with unique performances of classical and semi classical vocal, instrumental and dance forms. The cultural event 'Niranjan Smriti' on all occasions, has been widely appreciated and covered by media.
